We have seen a significant improvement in Courtney's grades since she has been at Carolina Academy for Math, Chemistry, and English composition writing for the past year. I would encourage any parent to consider sending their child to Carolina Academy. Your tutors, Tom and Nicole, are great teachers! It has certainly made a difference for my daughter.

My daughter made 100 on a chemistry test and currently has a 89 average after making a 72 the first semester. I wish I had gotten you all to work with her earlier in Chemistry. The best thing is that Courtney realizes she can do the work if she has good instructors.

"Our son was diagnosed with multiple learning disabilities and ADD at age 5. Since then we have tried every type of 'learning therapy' offered in the Greenville County area. We became "burned-out" and decided to just let him 'do his best'. Our son started high school this year and by the end of the second quarter his GPA was a 2.23; we had to do something. Carolina Academy for Educational Excellence was on his high school's website as a suggested tutor resource. Our son started tutoring the last week in February. We did not have high expectations; just hoped to get rid of flunking grades. Five weeks later, his GPA is 3.32. In all our struggling years and ADD medications, our son has never improved like this! In the past, one subject would go up but another subject would suffer. My child's tutor has taught him organizational skills, and study and test taking techniques that have helped him improve his grades. What is even more incredible is that for the first time ever, he wants to do better. The tutor's encouragement has completely changed his attitude about school. Our son has gone from not caring about his grades to checking his GPA EVERY DAY! He enjoys being tutored and never complains (like he used to). We have no complaints about anyone who worked with our son in the past, however, none has had such a profound impact on our son like his tutor and Carolina Academy."

I just wanted to let you know that both the boys did well on the SAT. My 12th grader improved on both parts scoring 660 in Math and a 530 in Reading. My 11th grader scored a 670 on Math and a 530 on Reading. We were very satisfied with their improvement. We had our 504 meeting yesterday morning and it went very well. Andrew also received his report card yesterday and he is so proud of it! Things have really turned around for him.
