Academic Coaching

Today's students are often over-scheduled and overwhelmed. The demands of rigorous courses, after-school sports, and other extracurricular activities make "keeping up" difficult for many. Students find themselves procrastinating, cramming, and staying up late in order to complete projects, papers, and reports.

Academic Coaching helps students plan and utilize their time effectively and efficiently. Students learn how to learn as they become independent and self-regulated.

Tutors will introduce, reinforce and monitor progress of newly learned strategies. Skills are integrated through specific homework assignments, projects, and test preparation already assigned in their classes so as to teach students the necessary skills without loading their schedules with extra assignments.

  • Daily Homework Assignment Checklists
  • Organization and Time Management
  • Planning Effective
  • Personal and Academic Goal Setting
